TESOL is an acronym that stands for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. It is a one-of-a-kind certification that can be viewed as non-native English language instruction.

This programme was created by Vocademics in accordance with international standards established by organisations such as the International TESOL Association and the International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language (IATEFL). Vocademics, as a proud member of both of these world-class organisations, is committed to reviewing and updating the course on a regular basis in order to keep up with new TESOL practices and international institution guidelines. This course will teach you the following skills:
1. You must have a high level of written and spoken English, as well as be able to teach.
2. Knowledge of the most recent research and trends in second language learning and other areas of linguistics,
3. Creating course materials, lesson plans, and teaching methods
4. Discover more about how the English language works (Phonology, Lexicon, Syntax, and Pragmatics), Interactions between culture and language
Pre-requisites
The Vocademics 130-hour TESOL Certification Course is open to all aspiring teachers worldwide who want to be certified and learn the most up-to-date techniques for teaching English. Here are some of the characteristics we require to determine whether or not you are eligible to take the TESOL course:
1.The ability to meet the academic requirements of the course. This could be a college degree (in progress or completed), but it could also be other academic credentials or skills learned on the job.
2. Applicants must be over the age of 18.
3. A person who wishes to teach English must possess a level of English equivalent to a high C1 on the CEFR. This means they must be able to teach at various levels.
Modules We Offer
Vocademics' 130-hour TESOL Certification course is divided into five modules:
1. Learning and Teaching
2. Classroom Administration
3. Methodologies and teaching strategies
4. Phonology and Grammar
5. Professional Development
Aside from that, students must attend a minimum of 10 to 20 hours of practical classes per week.
How to Obtain Certification
Criteria for completing a TESOL course successfully
To obtain the 130-hour TESOL Certificate, candidates must complete the following two assessment components:
The minimum time required to complete this course is 5 weeks, and the maximum time allowed is 6 months. If a student fails to achieve an overall score of 70% in both components, he or she will be allowed to retake Assignment Number-7 and Test-2 after a minimum of 15 days. For this, he or she must pay the re-examination fee set by the institute from time to time. Any student who wishes to obtain a transcript of his or her grades as well as a certificate for all assignments and tests must pay an additional INR 2000.
